Niksen:* For a little while May you have no goals Just be. For a little while ... May you have nothing to do Just be. For a little while May you let your mind wander Just be. For a little while May you watch the sky and trees Just be. For a little while May you lose all sense of time Just be. For a little while May there be no words Just be, with me. A Celtic Blessing to Doing Nothing by Iain Tweedale. *Dutch word for doing nothing.

"You take care of the earth and water it, making it rich and fertile... You drench the plowed ground with rain, melting the clods and leveling the ridges. You soften the earth with showers... and bless its abundant crops. You crown the year with a bountiful harvest; even the hard pathways overflow with abundance. The grasslands of the wilderness become a lush pasture, and the hillsides blossom with joy. The meadows are clothed with flocks of sheep, and the valleys are carpeted with grain. They all shout and sing for joy!" (Psalm 65) See more

"O God, You have folded back the mantle of the night to clothe us in the golden glory of the day. Drive from our hearts... all gloomy thoughts, and make us glad with the brightness of Your hope, that we may aspire to heavenly virtues; through Jesus Christ our Lord." ~~Author Unknown~~ Photo by Tammy@sweckerfarm

Every morning that you wake May you feel the peace That can calm the fiercest storm May you feel the love To forgive and then move on... May you feel the strength To walk and not grow weary May you feel the joy That is at the heart of being May you feel the presence of God. -Faith and Worship See more

Rise up, rise up, rise up people of faith, rise up and work together. Now is the time when you are needed, now is the time of your great witness. The shadows of sorrow still linger over many homes, the old fears still wait at the street corner of our cities. Look, you can see the Spirit already at work in the lives around you, bringing comfort to the elders, food to the families, healing to the sick, mercy to the poor. Rise up, rise up, rise up, people of faith, for your help... is needed now, your chance to make a difference has come. The world is weary of the illness that has taken so many, the hearts of your neighbors are longing to see a sign of hope. You are that sign. You are the messenger of good news. Rise up, people of faith, rise up and work together, for you are grace that can be seen, you are love that can be felt, you are joy in a land that needs to remember joy is still possible. -Rt. Rev. Steven Charleston See more

Wild spirit of the living God Bless to me the path that I tread, When I should stop - And where I should go; Let your welcome presence... Help me to know The time to be silent, The time to scream. Let there be places Where I can doubt and dream. Let these be moments When I am shaped as a true child Of the scarred and wounded king. Amen Prayer by Russ Parker

O Hope of every contrite heart, O Joy of all the meek, To those who fall, how kind Thou art! How good to those who seek!... -Bernard of Clairvaux, 12th Century

"I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in Him. Then, you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13
