At Xavier, service to others is who we are. We are proud to once again partner with our neighbor, Xavier Mission, to make sure no New Yorker goes hungry. Please support this effort if you can!
Congratulations to science teacher Mary Anne Woody, who recently won a Fulbright to teach in Vietnam. Ms. Woody will help create a STEM and natural sciences curriculum at a high school in the Lao Cai region.

The 5th annual Turkey Bowl Challenge has begun! This year, with many of our families impacted by COVID-19, we're counting on our alumni to show support for our students and take home the trophy again! Any alum from the classes of 2001-2020 who gives a gift to Xavier between now and November 25 counts as one point. If you're a TBC All-Star (you've given to every Challenge since 2016), your gift this year counts 2x! As always, the school with the most points wins the challenge and bragging rights. Give now at www.xavierhs.org/give or on Venmo (@xavierhs).

This year more than ever, the people served by the Xavier Mission are depending on our community's generosity during our Thanksgiving food drive. Please join us in reaching our goal of 15,000 donated items, which will allow the Xavier Mission to feed more than 200 families on Thanksgiving Day and keep their pantry stocked throughout the winter months. Thank you in advance for your generosity!

Earlier this week, Nicole DiMarco’s Introduction to Acting students unleashed their creativity with a virtual performance of Little Red Riding Hood. Students in one cohort met and arranged the performance, which they unveiled over Google Meet; students in the other cohort, in the classroom that day, were the audience.
