Yancey's Sugarbush

In case you needed more proof that the weather this spring has been weird...here’s a picture of dandelions growing in front of the boiling shed with one of our piles of snow still in the background. All while we’re boiling for one of the last days. Last Thursday there was snow. This spring has been confusing!

The plan is for the horses to be out gathering and for us to be boiling tomorrow (Tuesday). Going by the forecast, we may be done making syrup by the end of this week. The warmer temperatures will feel nice, but they will put an end to the sap gathering!
