Congratulations to Minnesota for becoming the 12th state to legalize same-sex marriage!

To be trustworthy we don't have to be perfect, we have to be real.

I am sooooo proud of YEL and the youth who were representing YEL at the Mental Health Awareness Luncheon this Monday! Everyone was so responsible, helpful, and mature, and the tree was inspiring and beautiful. You all are wonderful and I love you!

ADVOCACY TIP OF THE DAY: In ancient times, youth was associated not only with health and hope for the future, but with special insight, willfulness, and courage. Things may be different today, but know that every youth still has the insight and courage to make a change, including YOU!

Autum and Christine will be at SOY (Spotlight on Youth) later 6:15-8:00 at Shea's Smith Theater at 658 Main St. It is a Coffee House/Open Mic series that gives young people ages 12-21 to share and develop their talents in front of a live and supportive audience. Youth can perform or share any kind of creative work poetry, music, rap, visual art, dance, spoken wordas long as the content is respectful. Come watch and/or perform!
