Please welcome our newest board member to The Yoga Loft, Lakshmi Nair. Did you know we are a non-profit yoga studio with a volunteer board of directors? We are honored to have Lakshmi join us. Read below to learn more about the wealth of experience she brings to the organization. Lakshmi Nair is a psychiatric nurse practitioner and a private practice owner who immigrated to the US in 2013 and has been a North Country resident since then. Having grown up in India, she was i...ntroduced to Yoga and meditation at a very young age. She started practising meditation regularly at a young age of 17 and having taken psychiatric and mental health nursing as her profession, she is a strong advocate for making wellness practices in restoring and maintaining physical and emotional health. She is also an Indian classical musician who teaches Indian music to children in her free time. Are you committed to community wellness and access to yoga?
