Too many of our elected leaders’ policing policies exist in a fantasy world. This is what the reality looks like.

My opponent Peter Harckham has repeatedly denied that his "No Cash Bail" law has caused a spike in crime. Sheriffs, police, and prosecutors all around our regi...on and state - from both parties - beg to disagree, as does the evidence. It's a dangerous law and it needs to be repealed and we need to invest in our police - not defund them. I've been endorsed by over 30 police unions because I have a plan to keep us safe, protect taxpayers and rebuild our state. Harckham has said he is "proud" of his "No Cash Bail" law and in this video he says we should hold him "accountable." You can hold him accountable for reckless and dangerous laws like these by voting for me for State Senate. Thank you. See more

Members of the Yonkers PBA & CLSA, along with some brothers from the YFD delivered fully cooked meals from Stew Leonard’s to some less fortunate people. We are thankful to have fed more than 100 people today.

Pat Quinn was not just an Honorary Yonkers Police Officer but also a true brother to us all. May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back.... May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand. Sleep in Peace brother. #quinnforthewin

In a recent ad, Peter Harckham has shamelessly tried to trick voters into thinking law enforcement has endorsed him. WE HAVE NOT! Harckham’s no cash bail law has made our communities much less safe! His votes related to public safety and law & order are abysmal. Rob Astorino has been endorsed by nearly every police association in the State. That includes the men and women who patrol the communities in NY State’s 40th District. There is only one law & order candidate for NY State’s 40th District and that is Rob Astorino!

Sergeant Harold Lloyd Preston is a 41 year veteran of the Houston Police Department. He graduated from HPD Academy Class #86 in 1979. It is with great sadness ...that we share - our brother Sergeant Preston was shot and killed in the line of duty this morning, while responding to a domestic violence call. Another HPD officer was shot multiple times, but will survive his injuries. Please pray for the family and friends of Sergeant Harold Preston. Please pray for our department and our city. We are in mourning for our fallen brother. Thank you for your 41 years of service and your leadership, Sergeant Preston. You will always be remembered and we will never forget your sacrifice, in service to others. Rest in peace, sir. #HonorIntegrityRespect

I'm honored to have been endorsed by over 30 police unions all across our region and state. I'll fight to repeal Peter Harckham's dangerous "No Cash Bail" law ...that has wreaked havoc in our communities and made us all less safe. And I'll work to invest in our police -- not defund them. I'll stop Harckham's new bill (Senate Bill 2144) that makes any inmate eligible for parole once they turn 55 years of age and serve at least 15 years, regardless of how many people they've killed or raped. And I'll fight to repeal Harckham's discovery reforms which now allows accused criminals to visit the scene of a crime (even a rape victim's home) and gives defense lawyers the names and personal information of all victims and witnesses within a few weeks of the arrest, opening the door for witness intimidation or preventing witnesses from even coming forward. I believe in criminal justice reform, but my opponent has gone well beyond anything most would consider fair and reasonable and that's why the New York City PBA has said that Peter Harckham has "betrayed his constituents" by too often siding with the rights of criminals over the rights of the law-abiding public. I'll restore the proper balance, protect our communities and stand with our police and law abiding citizens.

Today members of the department of all ranks joined Police Chaplain Rabbi Mendy at the Chabad of Yonkers for a celebration of the Jewish holiday Sukkot. The off...icers enjoyed a simple dinning experience in a sukkah, while learning about the concepts which include unity and thanksgiving. Police Chaplain Steve Lopez was also in attendance as this was an opportunity to get to know our officers more intimately. Thank you for supporting Law Enforcement and the #YonkersPD!
