The American Dance Guild is celebrating 10 Years Over 10 Weeks in their virtual dance festival. This is week 6, featuring Doug Varone, Liz Lerman, & our very own founding director Alice Teirstein. Young Dancemakers Company 25th Anniversary Season Virtual Finale Concert. Join us as we celebrate 25 years of Young Dancemakers Company, and honor Founding Director Alice Teirstein for her vision and dedication to the dance community. The finale concert which was presented live on August 1st, will be replayed on Monday August 24th at 5pm, featuring the 2020 company performing live from their homes in their own work and in the work of repertory guest artist Pam Tanowitz, accom...panied live by YDC Music Director William Catanzaro. We will share dance videos by the teen artists, created together, while apart. The pieces are choreographed, danced, directed and edited by members of YDC, in collaboration with professional composers. And we will present our alumni dance project, magnificently directed by Kim Elliott, created in collaboration with YDC alums. See more
