Now more than ever getting to the closing table can feel like battering your way through a storm. The first I had the pleasure of meeting my client in person was literally during what turned out to be a tropical storm and we in fact met outside of 50 Lexington. That weekend we saw a carefully curated selection of properties that met their specific criteria. We used our time during the lockdown period we to identify the properties that fit their criteria and further refine ...to the specific ones for them to see once the trip to #nyc to see properties in person became possible when we entered #phase2 of the reopen plan . It is always prudent in any market to wisely consider what truly matters in the process of identifying a possible property to purchase. We of course proceeded safely masks , gloves, hand sanitizer , often shoe coverings and on the first day umbrellas. The field was narrowed , offers considered and submitted ,somethings did not work out and we ended up back at 50 Lexington. An offer was drafted based on having seen other units in the line , a swift negotiation (there was another bidder in fact) and we were off to the races. Produced the physical board package from my home office (a few reams of paper, countless hours in acrobat , excel , docusign, hunting for three ring binders , separators and lots of highlighters used) and off it went to the managing agents. A remote board interview and voila ! We made it to the closing day. Walkthrough just before the closing and while client was at the managing agent for the in person closing a swift moving in was taking place, by the time client arrived the contents of the moving truck were in the apartment. And late that evening evening I got a text with the as part of their table for first meal in their slice of the big . Congrats to our client ! One of our favorite showers is back (swipe left!!) !
