Marquelle Filkins aka YK is an American Hip-Hop Recording Artist-Performer, Song Writer, born in Elmira, NY and raised in Corning, NY. Marquelle is joined on stage by his cousin, Jaovian Fisher aka JC also residing in Corning, NY. They are 2 17-year-olds attending Corning-Painted Post High School. Their 1st show was at the end of 8th grade when they performed at their talent show called Hawk Factor. It was then, that night, that they got bit by the bug as everybody was singin...g along to their Anti-Bully Suicide Anthem, Everybody Stand Up. Shortly after that night, our local news both the Corning Leader and WENY 36 did a story on the boys. From that point on, they were being booked in many events in Corning, Elmira, Ithaca, and Syracuse. A few of their highlights have been performing at the Great NYS Fair,iMATTER Festival, First Arena and were asked to do a jingle for WINK 106 DJ Matt at Night, which was recorded at So Superb Studios in Elmira, NY. Also, some records recorded at FMG Studios (Cap) & in Corning @ CPP Hawks studio & @ 4th Street Studios (Ben) We also have on our roster Aidan Lukey Bear Smith who performs at events when time permits, and Jamiel Shoodie Jai Filkins Studio Artist, Ghost Writer @ YunG'En Entertainment.
