A coding school is opening in Greater Buffalo. The basis of the school the underlying format is being driven by Silicon Valley’s #1 kids coding program. Tha...t means that students (all skill levels, ages 7-18) will have an amazing opportunity to learn a broad array of languages from Scratch to Python, Javascript, Java, etc. In a day and age when programming is the key to creating limitless technological worlds, it’s important to know that the ability to code is the foundation upon which everything is built. At theCoderSchool, we want to do more than just teach coding. We want aspiring coders to use their new found passion as a stepping stone to thinking outside the box, as a way to channel their ideas in a creative way and most importantly, to have fun. The Coder School The owners of The Coder School of Buffalo, Sanchayita and Umesh Shah were looking for an opportunity of this nature for their daughter, and realized that there was not one in Buffalo that suited their needs. Therefore, they set out to create their own school, knowing that there were other families in the community that would also benefit from the unique programming. Sanchayita possesses a double Masters in Economics and Business Management, while Umesh, a global tech and business consultant, is currently working with M&T Bank as a Product Manager in their Digital Banking team. Leading up to the school’s opening, the two have secured a location, invested in tech equipment, and brought onboard skilled coders to train the students. The Coder School is celebrating its grand opening on January 26 at 6035 Transit Road (1 PM 3 PM).
