WHAT A BEAUTIFUL WAY TO START MY SUNDAY! So I was driving down to my machine mechanic to work with him on some new sewing machines. I turned off Atlantic Ave onto Nevins Street. I saw this beautiful place with interesting objects and clothing and my curiosity piqued...... So.....I decided to take a peek. I had to.... As I parked and walked up to the store, I saw a sign....The Brooklyn Circus. I then realized I was standing in front of the store of the iconic @thebkcircus owned and operated by Ouigi Theodore! I met Ouigi about a year ago at @italkitchenbk The absolute best Vegan restaurant in NYC. Chef Mike and I have been friends for 20 years. When I worked at his former health food store in the same location. It was my Job when I just started out creating in NYC and had to have supm to pay the bills as fashion made me no money then. Interestingly as I stepped into the store to greet Ouigi, guess who was also there! @mikegrapes another all star creative who also owns @savantvision on Fulton street. I met mike at my store @zambarrett.dialogue ZSPACE ZFACTORIE in Brooklyn as he like myself, was curious about what was inside as I did this morning. I feel really blessed to connect with these creatives who are doing something special each in their own unique and visionary ways. I did a little shopping, we shared a great laugh and I was on my way to the machine mechanic. What a way to start my Sunday. Thank you gentlemen and great brothers, if only for 15 minutes it was a beautiful and memorable one.
