Zara’s lounge plattsburgh

So i would like to thank all my plattsburgh people for the love and support they have showed . My landlord jatinder bhasin( former doctor who lost his medical license because fraudulent activities ) played his dirty games and made me trust him with 72 Margaret st ( zara’s lounge) i signed the lease for 10 years and thought i would get Main floor with full basement . And rent was 1500 . Soo it was very good deal. In the market everyone is paying 2500-3000 rent for that kind ...of sq property. I thought becuse of full basement and rent was low i was gona renovate that place run it as bar/ restaurant. Once i got my renovation done , i found out there is no place to put my garbage, or used frying oil . Plus my roof was leaking for 21/2 years ( 20) complaints to building dept from me. Plus police reports. My roof was leaking in the kitchen area . I couldnt run my business it was flooded. Plus i found out the basement which i thought i would get ... had an other establish business rite under my place. So i didnt get , basement, garbage place, waste oil place, roof leaked ( its landlords responsibility according to my lease) and i did all the renovations. Made new restaurant and bar . This place never had restaurant or bar. Soooo once I installed full kitchen, full bar , certificate of occupancy, health permits, liquor license, all the insurances and now it was time to make money, guess wat, eviction came lol . With very illogical reasons which i could easily fought . But i decided to just leave because sometimes he would shutoff my water, shutoff my electric, never fix the roof so kitchen staff wouldnt work in water and electric panels was rite next to it. Botton line is he wanted to kick me out and get the newly renovated place for himself to run . But guess wat. I withdrew my liquor license and the very last window for downtown full liquor license has been closed . His place wont have any license anymore. I spent almost 357k there . I m posting the renovation in process and complete pics . Life is full of experiences and surprises. Never trust anyone specially the pple who speaks your native language and u consider them ur elders and uncles and shit. Lol its a karma . I m sure he will enjoy the karma . I cant say good luck because that would be a lie all i can say is wish u whatever you deserve. Mr Jatinder Bhasin ( EX MD disgraceful doctor of Plattsburgh) please share the story. The purpose of this post is to teach novice business owners to read your lease and each clause extremely carefully. Thats the only way to legally screw u...i have 3 other businesses to survive but what if this was my only bread and butter?
