I realized I never posted about our newly hatched chicks! They are 5 days old now and have doubled in size! We welcomed 5 lavendar orpingtons. It was alot of fun for my three year old(and myself) watching these babies hatch in our home on mothers day.

Those are some pretty chickens if I do say so myself. I loved the way their colors stood out last night at sunset. Soon our baby chicks will be out and about with everyone!

We have been working hard outside on so many projects! Brian got one of the gardens all tilled and prepped to plant. Now I've got to sit down and plan out this space. Spoiler alert - there will definitely be small patch of sunflowers going in a section of this garden.
