Guess what??? Zumba With Sara B and I are teaming up to bring you something TOTALLY NEW!! With the Y's closed for the foreseeable future, we know that for most of you who take Aqua Zumba...regular Zumba or even Zumba Gold isn't doable.... But, we want to keep you moving, keep your endurance up, and most of all ... keep your spirits high and bring you some joy, happiness, and togetherness!!! So....stay tuned. I'll be posting about some new classes we're creating JUST FOR YOU! It's Zumba...but with a little twist (figuratively....I promise it won't hurt your joints). They will be virtual but some will be LIVE and others will be pre-recorded so you can do them at your leisure. I'm so excited....I just can't wait. You're gonna LOVE IT!!!!!

Hi everyone!! Many of you know I work at the Greater East Aurora Chamber of Commerce. Normally, we present a wonderful live sing-along event in December called Carolcade. It draws thousands of people to the village and shuts down Main Street. Well, this year, we obviously can't have it, so the Chamber did something kind of unique instead. We made a pre-recorded, television special called Carolcade 2020 - Christmastime in East Aurora.... It's airing on WBBZ-TV (cable channel 5/antenna channel 67.1 tonight, 12/2, at 8 p.m.; Saturday, 12/5, at noon; and Sunday, 12/6 at 10:30 a.m. If you're looking for something festive and joyful, please watch.!! (And no, I'm not in it. lol. I helped a little behind the scenes.)

I don't normally post things like this on my Zumba page, but I felt this year - now more than ever - we need to show our support. We all know how the YMCA has helped us over the past several years. Will you consider helping this organization out now? I know this is a challenging time for many of us, but if you can spare a few dollars, please consider making a donation to the YMCA.... It truly is a wonderful organization that serves nearly every age group in our communities - even during the shutdowns. Right now, your local YMCA is providing much-needed child care to parents who are still working. And, if we do go into a red zone, they will continue to provide child care services to our essential workers. Please consider making a small donation - every penny can truly help.
