Happy birthday to our Secretary, Hillary Dang Without you we would not have any places to host our in-person events. Thank you for always writing the notes after every meeting to make sure everyone is updated and in case people need to check up on it, its there Hope you have a fantastic day!!

If you are serious about dancing and want to join a team join Bloodline Bloodline is CSA’s very own official dance team and because if that they get the chance to perform in front of many other orgss If you want to see past performances you can check them out @csa_bloodline Tryouts will be virtual and all you have to do is send a video to our performance chair’s email!!

Interested in dancing and want to get started?? We will be having CSA modern dance try-outs We will show our choreographies and you will be able to choose which one you want to do!! Practices will be held virtually and no experience is needed You can come in with no dancing experience and leave doing body rolls Link will be in biooo!!

About a month ago, we had a movie night where we streamed Disney’s live action Mulan. This film faced a lot of controversy due to the lead actress’ support for the police brutality in Hong Kong and Xinjiang, the location in which the movie was filmed, has internment camps for the purpose of persecuting Uighur Muslims. We decided to stream the movie because it is the first Hollywood film with an all-Asian cast that is also based on a beloved Chinese legend. However, we do not ...support the police brutality in Hong Kong and especially not the persecution of the Uighur Muslims in China. We realized it was wrong of us to stream but also to not properly educate our members on the issues beforehand so we’re taking this program as an opportunity to do so. Therefore, we urge our members to join us at Albany State Indian Alliance’s (A.S.I.A.) event to learn about the Uighur Culture Crisis and how we can help.
