We form it and it forms us. Developing a mudra practice harnesses our inner energy, helping us to focus, set intentions, and maintain equilibrium in our daily lives. Mudras also catch and amplify the vibratory power of sound. Mudras are considered to be the vessels for mantras, much as asanas are vessels for our physical bodies. A daily mudra and mantra meditation practice deepens our connection to ourselves and to the world. We seal our intentions - our hopes, commitments, and dreams - into our bodies and minds. Bio Susanna Harwood Rubin is the author of Yoga 365: Daily Inspiration for Life On and Off the Mat. She is a yoga teacher, writer, and artist whose work is rooted in South Indian Philosophy; her spiritual home is in Chidambaram at the great temples of Nataraja and Tillai Kali. Based in NYC, Susanna has been teaching for 19 years internationally and online. She is the creator of numerous online courses, including her upcoming Write To Your Center.
