Matt W. showing off his freshly tailored shirt after his first solo this past week. CONGRATULATIONS Matt!!!
Testing the smoke system on the new 7:47 Fun Machine!
The 7:47 Fun Machine at last nestled in its new home; after a challenging journey up the east coast from St. Augustine, FL through Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and finally home.
Very soon this amazing aircraft will be in the 7:47 Aviation hangar and eventually will be part of the 7:47 fleet!
Get those FEET to WAKE UP and start working FOR you in your flying! When you use your feet appropriately and well, you will ABSOLUTELY take your flying to the next level. I use two great exercises you can do, back to back, to train yourself how your feet and hands can work separately and how your hands and feet can work together. I'll call them coordination rolls and wings level nose skids. Let me know if you want more details.
7:47 Aviation Breaking News: A 1ST SOLO! Candy is the first one to congratulate Ken after his first solo flight! CONGRATULATIONS Ken Keough on your first 2 landings with an empty right seat and as the sole occupant of the airplane! Great job Ken!!!
Look what's happening Michigan! Feeling very blessed to be alive today!!! Listen to two songs today and see if you don't feel the same way: AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL and Lee Greenwood's GOD BLESS THE USA
When she comes to bed, she even brings her own pillow. She knows where she works and she's always reminding me of what we do!
The Beautiful view in my back yard! Beauty comes in all forms, and even snow on April 15th gives us another dazzling display of the artistry of nature. Now, I love winter and snow, but I'm not ashamed to admit, come mid-April, it's time for the emerald green of fresh young new grass, and I'll be happy to see the snow give way. It's Time to Fly!!! See you at 7:47.
If you have never read or haven't read it in a long time, read Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach. It's a great story with a relevant message and it's particularly pertinent to pilots. It's a short book and I read it in about 30 minutes this morning.
This is just another example of why I love my job! I get to meet amazing people like Bob all the time! And believe me, this doesn't even touch the surface of what he can do with a guitar. Love ya Bob! Have a great day!
I apologize ahead of time for being a little gross, but next time I walk into my bathroom at the office and see evidence that someone had diarrhea and didn't use the toilet brush to clean up, I'm bringing my Ithaca 12ga. shotgun to work. No, I'm not going to kill anyone, but if you come in and see someone cleaning a toilet at gunpoint, you'll now know why!
CONGRATULATIONS on your FIRST SOLO, Karlee McMasters!!!
