It’s in times of heavy rainwhen it seems like it just won’t let upthat Betterment aims to step in with some shelter from the rain. And just like the ripples t...hat the raindrops make in a puddle, we want to start a ripple effect of goodness as a result of holding the umbrella for our recipients for a little while. In our challenging world situation right now, we aim to be a ray of hope. Because we think it's precisely in these times of need that we created the ‘ripple effect’ for, back when Betterment was formed 20 years ago. While we may not be able to solve the problem of this virus, we can provide that little bit of hope for others and in turn, give ourselves a little of that same hope as well. We know the need will be great in the times ahead, but our hopeand our effortswill be even greater. At a time when we are told to be "socially distant, the need for hope is now more critical than ever.
