Nursing is a profession dedicated to helping humanity. Nurses put on their scrubs each morning (and night) to help empower patients in their weakest of moments. Racism has absolutely no place in our wonderful profession. Unfortunately, racism has infiltrated our community and has directly impacted patients, fellow nurses, and the healthcare system as a whole. Leading nursing organizations have now launched the National Commission to Address Racism in Nursing (The Commission...).
