MEMORIAL DAY PARADE IS MAY 28TH AT 10AM. The parade will again have a float for veterans to ride on in the parade if they are unable to march. Parade (and float) will begin at WP City Hall on Main St. and end at WP Rural cemetery. There will be a bus to take those riding on the float back to Main St garage area. A short ceremony will follow at the Post. Come join us! Assembly at 9:30 and step off at 10. (TIME WAS CORRECTED ON THIS POST)

Today is National Vietnam Veterans day. March 29th was designated and signed into law by Pres Trump last year. The White Plains American Legion family thanks all our Vietnam veterans for their service and welcomes you.

Legion members are invited to a Thanksgiving gathering at the Post on Sunday, Nov. 19th from 2-4pm. Casual get together with complimentary traditional foods. No sign up necessary.

Our members were invited to a Veteran's Breakfast yesterday for Veteran's Day. Was quite a morning. Food, gifts, music and seeing friends. Vets from all branches and wars were present. We thank you for the breakfast and enjoyed it all.
