Hello club members, Its Tann, former club curator. I would like to invite y'all to an Earth Day event at Playground Coffee Shop this Saturday that is hosted by Black Girl Magik. This event intends to take a finer look at the issues that our community battles with, carrying out a open forum discussion to dissolve tension and attempt solutions in the neighborhood. The first installment of this series is focused primarily on Mother Earth, promoting Eco-Solutions to our everyday... problems. This event is set to explore issues ranging from Food Deserts, Gentrification, Community Outreach and Development and Sustainable methods that can be taken from the workshop into your home. By providing an accessible space to gather we aim to create transparent solutions and revolutionary rhetoric to bridge the gap between environment and community. Hope y'all can make it! Address: 1114 Bedford Ave (cross st Quincy)
