Really can't complain about working when it's 70 in November!

So, not what any landscaper wants to see! I bumped into this milkweed plant while pushing a wheelbarrow and the seed pods burst & the seeds went everywhere & stuck to my gloves, boots, pants-you name it. I took a minute to rid myself of them, bc nothing would be worse than accidentally planting them in a flower bed! Stupid milkweed-good thing the butterflies like them bc their root goes to china!

Alot of folks as what kind of landscaping we do this time of year. Raking of course, but also shaping bushes and trees, cutting back perennials, & one last weeding! Everything looks so nice and clean and ready for winter.

We added some landscaping to the stairs at The Hayloft. Most of the perennials are cut back and covered now, but next spring things sure will look super! I love how the rock wall and stones fit right in with the natural beauty of the place!

If you have ever been to an event at The Hayloft then you may recognize this hill. We've spruced it up a bit! No more climbing the hill in fancy shoes. Admittedly, building steps into a hill was a new one for us, so we called in an uncle who is a contractor. They turned out great! Next up is to add some landscaping, but the weather this week & a wedding of our own there has put that in hold.
