It is with a heavy heart to inform all our patients and friends that Michael Claps, Dr. Claps' dear son, is fast losing his battle with cancer. All our love and prayers

So sorry to say that we have lost our wonderful hygienist, Agnes. She left our employ so as to not compromise her young son. She will be sorely missed..... But never fear! Drs. Claps and Ciletti do cleanings as well so you're in good hands!

Per the American Bar Association: Can the government legally force you to wear a mask? The answer is yes. In a pandemic, governments have the authority to do a lot of things that would otherwise be questionable.... Do you have a constitutional right not to wear a mask? The answer is no. If you come into my place of business (Southold Dental Associates) without a mask, you will not be allowed in. I will not sell you a mask. If you wear a mask with your nose showing, I will remind you to wear it properly. I do this not because I feel like annoying you but because I care about you, my co-workers and employers, other patients and more importantly, me. I have neither the desire to find out whether you are carrying Covid-19 nor do I wish to bring it home to my family. Thank you for your consideration and compliance.

All safety precautions are being practiced. Our doctors are masked, shielded and gloved. Our office staff are masked and gloved. We are not allowing more than 2 people at any given time in our waiting room. All operatories are disinfected between patients and all instruments are both cold sterilized and autoclaved. THE COMFORT AND SAFETY OF ALL IS PARAMOUNT!!!!
