Volunteers are the heart of Cops, Kids and Toys. Each dollar we raise or gets donated goes directly to purchase gifts for the children we serve. We are 100% volunteer. We know that many volunteers are unable to help this year, but we look forward to having them back with us next year. Thank you to all volunteers past and present. We appreciate each of you!! You are the backbone of Cops, Kids and Toys and allow us to continue to serve the children of Tompkins County after 40 plus years.

As we get ready to pack the children's bags on Monday, we would like to once again thank the small businesses that worked with us this year and look forward to doing this again next year. Cat's Pajamas, Alphabet Soup, Klein's Archery, The Brain Shoppe, Jillian's Drawers, Instant Replay, and Sunny Days are just a few of the shops that we shopped at beginning in April. As I walked the toy room today making sure everything was ready for our first group of volunteers, I can say... that the gifts that we purchased from these stores truly add to the quality of gifts that we have to give out this year. I have a few favorite toys and kits that I'm hoping find good homes and children to love and enjoy them. Thank you to these small business owners for being easy to work with, but also allowing me to order from catalogs and web sites while you were making orders for your stores. Cops, Kids and Toy is grateful for the many families, individuals and businesses that support us with donations of toys, checks and money. We would not be able to do what we do without the support of the community. Thank you to all that support Cops, Kids and Toys!!!

Today's thank you is to Jeff and Triphammer Marketplace. Without them, we would not have been able to easily store the many purchases we made in the spring and summer to support the local businesses. Cops, Kids and Toys would like to thank Dan Cornell and the Tompkins County Probation Department for all of their help today in picking up donation bins, and helping to organize and count the toys that were donated.
