Our students are not just essential workers, they are mothers, teachers, and leaders, and we couldn't be more proud. Downtown Ithaca Children's Center welcomed ...Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul today as the two visited with local leaders and caregivers to call for federal support of the childcare industry. Joining them at the podium to advocate on behalf her fellow Children's Center employees, her industry, or her own child, was Tompkins Cortland Early Childhood A.A.S. student Danielle Greene. Thanks for thinking of and speaking up for all of us Danielle, and thank you to the many childcare and teaching professionals out there working to balance safety and education in all they do.

Final child care tour stop today with U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand in Ithaca at the Downtown Ithaca Children's Center. See more
