When it rains it pours..... so as some of you may know, I have been away from the shop for a couple weeks now. It started with me feeling burnt out, and struggling with my own mental well-being. So I took a small break to reset and reenergize. In that time, my wife found a mass, and with the very real possibility that she had breast cancer, my life was a whirlwind of emotions and uncertainty. Thankfully, all tests came back negative for cancer, but she still has the removal s...urgery, and recovery ahead of her. Which brings us to yesterday when I stopped by the shop to make sure everything was alright (I hadn’t been there in 2 weeks) and grab a couple things for paintings I need to finish. This was the moment I noticed that somebody had tried to break in. The door had been hit with enough force to split the door jamb, and there were pry marks in the frame from the tools they tried to enter with (unsuccessfully.) We are in the process of reviewing the Parking lot cameras, but considering the large window of time since I’ve been there last it is proving to be quite a task. So, with all of that personal stuff, and now the added security risk of our location. I am shutting the shop down, and finding a brand new location to reopen. When and where that will be is yet to be determined, but it assuredly will be a better, brighter, and more secure location. I apologize for those of you who have to have your appointments rescheduled in the interim, your patience and loyalty will be rewarded. For anyone who is looking to get tattooed with their taxes, or stimulus..... just wait. Save your money for a little while and I’ll be back. Don’t settle with a watered down version of what could have been because you went to someone else. We will be back!!
