Hello Bio-clubers! As promised here is an update on the Honeysuckle pull. This is a direct quote from Dr. Titus: "Hello, Biology Club event! There will be an Eurasian honeysuckle pull at the Campus Woodlot on Sat. Oct. 12 from 10:00-2:00. We will be removing this shrub in the woods across from the Facilities Building on Ring Road. We will be very easy to find if you go along Ring Rd. -- so come by anytime. Eurasian honeysuckle is a highly aggressive non-native shrub whic...h causes immense environmental damage to our native plant communities. However, it is easy and satisfying to pull. This is a family fun event and also good for student service projects. If you have any questions please ask. Thank you. Jon Titus [email protected]" See more
