IDA person of the month: Shaykh Tadese Meet one of us, in person of Shaykh 'AbduSemi'h A. Tádée. Sheaykh Abdusemi’h was born in Lagos, originally from Tadese royal family, Iwo. He studied the nuances of Qur'nic sciences, Islamic jurisprudence and Modern Standard Arabic Language at Shamsu Su'ood Arabic Institute in Ibadan. He received a Bachelor degree (LLB) in Comparative Law: Shari'ah and Common Law, from the International University of Africa, Khartoum, Sudan.... Imam Tádée received a Master of Science degree in Urban Studies with concentration in Law and Public Policy from the Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs, Cleveland State University, Cleveland, Ohio. He was trained in both Columbus, Ohio, and Capitol Hill, Washington D.C., in Urban Studies, Inter-governmental Relations, Law and Public Policy. He has taken part in several national and International conferences in the United States and other countries, he represented Nigeria in the Afro-Arab Conference, Khartoum, in 1992. He is the author of several books on Qur'anic Reading and Modern Standard Arabic Language: Arabic Language Dynamic Techniques: A New Approach to Learning Modern Standard Arabic Language, published in 2008, and Al-Qur'anul Kareem Dynamic Reading, first published in 1996, and Second Edition in 2008 and Days of Triumph... 2016. Imam Tádée served as the Imam of Uqbah Mosque Foundation, and for more than a decade, as a member of the Board of Directors of the Uqbah Mosque Foundation. He also worked for the state of Ohio in many capacities. For over five years, he worked at the Islamic Center of Pittsburgh as Imam, Director, and Outreach Coordinator. Imam Tádée works with the Pennsylvania Interfaith Impact Network (PIIN) to forge better understandings among people of faiths and in realizing social justice in the United States. He is also a member of the Multi-faith Council of the Chatham University, Pittsburgh, PA. He currently serves as the secretary to the Shura of NCNMO-National Council of Nigerian Muslim Organizations, USA. He is Director of Religious Affairs of the Islamic University Center, Pittsburgh, PA. and Cleveland, Ohio and as a consultant on Islm, interreligious dialogue and U.S. Public Policy. He is happily married with two boys and twin girls. Currently working as a professional counselor with Family Solutions of Ohio, USA. Very interested in IT Sciences.
