Happy Birthday to Kaaterskill's Director of Operations!

The Library in Berne, NY is always doing interesting things under the leadership of the Director Kathy Stempel. Her latest project is a TEDx project involving local town residents doing individual pre-recorded TED talks. The library will be Livestreaming the event on Facebook this Saturday from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm. the link is HTTPS://www.facebook.com/kedstempel/live/ Kaaterskill Associates Director of Operations John Valachovic was asked to participate in this event. His talk is "Journey of a Lifelong Learner"

Kaaterskill continues to grow and this has caused us to do some renovations to facilitate how our teams operate. We have taken the time to brighten up some of our spaces with fresh paint and flooring along with new walls.

This picture was taken this morning from the site of the Main House at Piaule Catskill Landscape Retreat. Kaaterskill did the site design, infrastructure design, and permitting for Piaule. This is a new resort that includes 24 cabins and the Main House. Piaule is currently under construction and will be open for business in 2021!

Now we just have to decide who gets this office.

One of the best perks of having our business in Cairo is the great job the town does clearing the streets of snow. While it sometimes causes momentary inconvenience, the benefit of safe clean sidewalks more than makes up for it. Thank you Cairo Highway for a great job!
