Now 911! Now Fire Departments! You have a call! Now dash away, dash away, dash away all! He was dressed all in turnout gear from his head to his foot And his gear was all tarnished with ashes and soot. He spoke not a word but went straight to work, He put out the fire and turned with a jerk. He sprang to his fire truck, to his team gave a whistle, And away they all flew like the down of a thistle. But I heard him exclaim ‘ere he drove out of sight, Keep your stockings away from the fireplace at night!
