He is a trumpeter leading his own Big Band "New Vintage" Orchestra since 1992. He has taught privately for over 35 years. Teaches Band/Jazz Band & trumpet @ Chaminade HS. DRUMS/GUITAR Chris has received the New York Music award and has performed on TV radio and concert stages, including Radio City Music Hall. He has a successful and unique teaching style with benefits for youth, adults and special needs students. Rock, Pop, Jazz, reading, rudiments and NYSSMA. PIANO - VOICE Doris Lewis has been teaching for over 25 years. She has her Masters from Aaron Copland School of Music. Lead vocalist for NEW VINTAGE ORCHESTRA & Conga-Tribute band, also sings with NASSAU COUNTY POLICE BAND, Vocal teacher @ Chaminade HS. CELLO/STRINGS STRINGS Alex has a BA in Music Education from C.W. Post College. He has been teaching for over 5 years and is seeking his masters degree. Strings & Piano Conklin A veteran violinist w/ over 30 years teaching experience. Attended City College as A music major Piano Gabrille: new teacher in 2020, a former student of our studio. Now attending Adelphi university. GUITAR Al has worked at C&C Visual as an assistant Editor. He also has worked as an audio engineer at S.O.B.'s Nightclub/Talent Agency. He has attended New York University for Music Business and for Music Theory. He teaches all levels of guitar. WOODWINDS/PIANO Fred B.A. degree in Music Performance from C. W. Post in jazz studies. In 2008 he attended Berklee College of Music. He has several years’ experience in private teaching. WOODWINDS/PIANO Paul has been playing professionally around LI for a few years. I just heard from a past customer of my Dad's store from 1966! This made my day.... Hi Mr. Lewis. I just would like to say hello and thanks to you and your late -father for selling my dad this magnificent amplifier from a company called SOUND ELECTRONICS which was given to me and my brother for Christmas. Also this beautiful Fender Electric 12 string back in 1966. I just want to let you know that this amp just was serviced for the first time in its 54 year life!! 1 power tu...be and a couple resistors. It plays beautifully! I read John Dougherty from Ampeg built them in Mineola. The Fender has never been serviced or even changed from the factory set up. Nor the neck never adjusted. It still plays beautifully too. A little crackle in the volume pot. I just wanted to let you know at 66 now I still own them and have taken good care of them since acquiring them your dad’s store back in 66. My dads also bought a bought 3 accordions and a Hawaiian guitar and amp. I still remember your dad! I guess I want to thank you and your dad for bringing me many of memorable years of fun from these two instruments!! I’m still very happy with them and still play them. 1966 was a great Christmas!!!
