Sangat ji in response to the Coronavirus pandemic and Guidelines from the NYC Mayors office along with Governors office to minimize public gatherings, out of an abundance of caution we are canceling Diwans until further notice. Fateh all, we have been monitoring the news and NYC guidelines related to the COVID-19 outbreak and have decided it would be prudent to postpone this Sunday’s (March MSA divaan at Hari NYC. The current guidance is that New Yorkers do not need to avoid large gatherings but we are taking this precaution because Sunday programs attract young families. As a community it is important for us to be informed on facts and beware of misinformation that can be demeaning, racist or offensive.
