MOHDC SmartStart Nature Academy

MOHDC SmartStart Nature Academy will be hosting our first multicultural potluck luncheon on Friday, April 21st at 12:00PM at our Blake Avenue location. Our intention is to promote a greater awareness and appreciation among our students for the different cultures represented in our community. In turn we are optimistic that this will promote a greater respect for cultural differences and engage students in discussions within their own families about their cultural and ethnic ba...ckground. We are encouraging our little ones and families to wear traditional clothing to represent their cultural/ancestral background. Please do not send dishes containing peanuts, tree nuts, and seafood. In observance of Earth Day (April 22) we will recycle all recyclable materials after the event and are discouraging the use of styrofoam. Thank you for your support!
