***2020 SEASON UPDATE*** Hello All! I hope everyone is healthy, safe, & sane. It looks like things are starting to open up and we are looking to play some baseball! For all the Mom's out there. Happy Mothers Day This video hits me right in the heart...especially this year.
Hello! We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. That's obviously most important to us. With that being said, we really miss baseball and seeing everyone! Hopefully, kids are keeping occupied and staying active. I posted a cool, DIY baseball dice game on our Facebook page. Check it out; it could definitely be a fun way to pass the time. It's still very hard to tell when things will start to get back to normal. The NTLL Board has agreed that we will do whatever we ...can to make sure that kids have a baseball season of some sort this year. We can't promise that it will look and feel exactly like the seasons you've come to know and expect. But, we can promise that board members and coaches will give maximum effort to make sure it will be a fun and memorable experience. According to Little League International, the soonest we could begin activities is May 11th. Best case scenario, we would start practices as close to that date as possible with games beginning the first week of June. This is obviously all tentative. We will keep everyone updated as we move closer to those dates. It may be silly to try and forecast when we will be back out on baseball fields, but we thought it was important to give everyone (us included!) something to look forward to. After all, what beats the thought of kids playing baseball in the park on a sunny, Spring Saturday! Be safe and stay strong. And, for goodness sake, get outside and play catch!
