Still closed 129 Atlantic ave still open with the same menu and a greatly increased adult beverage selection

The British beer festival starts at the Atlantic ChipShop 129 Atlantic Ave Brooklyn (718 855 7775) today with goodies like Consiton Bluebird cask, Harviestons old engine oil and some Beavertown classics like blood orange IPA and more. On St George's day 4/23/15 we are having a benefit for the St George's society when 15% of the days receipts will be donated to this very worthy cause. On St George’s day we will be running roast Sirloin and Yorkshire pudding special all day or until 40 odd orders run out. We will be running at least 10 lines of Brit beer and 1 cask every day until May 3rd

Atlantic Avenue ChipShop is open 7 days a week with the same menu and a 16 seat full bar that houses 17 keg lines and 2 cask lines of beer. We also do proper Sunday dinners from 12 noon. The old ChipShop space is going to be reopening soon as a Malaysian restaurant, they are lovely people who I will be supporting. The corner space is going to be a bakery. Thanks again for all your support over the years and we love you all.

A HUGE CHIPSHOP THANKS TO GOOD FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of the Park Slope location of the ChipShop after nearly 14 years. We will be closing our doors for the last time on December 24th at 5pm.... Thank you Park Slope friends, neighbors, and all our dear customers. What a ride it has been with ...such beautiful customers -- some famous, others infamous and all loved; exceptional staff throughout the years with an extra big thanks to those who have been with us since the beginning; ... so many, many bizarre items fried (wedding cakes, Twinkies, countless chocolate bars, a George Bush doll, Wendy Williams’ wig, etc.); ...endless terrific kids (some barely a twinkle in their parents’ eyes when we started and now teens)--a special shout out to MS 51 students for their lunch business, and the PS 107 and PS 29 communities for their endless support; ... hundreds of napkin love letters left in the drawer of table 6; wonderful media experiences including being credited with starting the state fair deep fried Twinkie craze. Special tribute to the Food Network, and Travel Channel for their repeated coverage; ...great landlords, you are truly the good guys, and; ... many laughs, tears and everything else in between. While we won’t be quite as local, you can still visit ChipShop at our Atlantic Avenue location with the same menu plus the bonus of a full bar and some of the familiar ChipShop staff faces (Suzy will be there!). The Reliant Robin is still on the road so keep an eye open for her rounding a corner (but not quite tipping over). While this is a tough moment as we say goodbye to this first and beloved location, look for news on new ChipShop developments down the road. 25lb of vegetarian mincemeat made and its so much better than Robinsons, Its a lot brighter, you can actually taste the individual fruits and zests but the overall flavour is the same as my childhood memories. We're selling it by the jar, 8oz $6 or 16oz $10, we can also sell it in bulk (plastic containers not fancy jars). Call for a price. Mince pie manufacturing will begin after thanksgiving and the prices are the same as last year $12 half doz or $20 for a doz.
