Many traditional Halloween activities can be high-risk for spreading viruses. There are several safer, alternative ways to participate in Halloween. Please see the information below from Westchester County with guidelines on several lower and moderate risk activities as well as higher risk activities to avoid. (If you may have COVID-19 or you may have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, you should not participate in any in-person Halloween festivities and should not give out candy to trick-or-treaters.)

The City recently posted 100 signs promoting face covering in parks and public areas. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 infection rate is on the rise, making masks more important than ever, along with handwashing and self-quarantine in the event of symptoms or exposure to somebody who has tested positive or has symptoms. Thank you for your cooperation.
