Youth Summer Programs with Spacial Dynamics.

Dear Friends of the Spacial Dynamics Summer Programs, It is with a heavy heart that we write to announce that the Spacial Dynamics Summer programs will not be a...ble to take place this year. Both the "Sword the Pen and the Arrow", and "Cirque-Eze" have had to be canceled for 2020...this summer. The Governor of the State of New York has just announced a series of regulations that prohibit any activities such as ours through the summer. We set our gaze on the distant sunNext Year! This past week, a new "Train the Trainers" program began at SDI headquarters in New York: Level III D (the fourth group to go through such a training). 40 can...didates, from 14 different countries began this journey together. The training was led by SDI's director, Jaimen McMillan, who was supported by a group of 7 Level III graduates. Functional Anatomy, Therapeutic techniques, movement analysis skills, and refereeing abilities were honed. This group meets 3 times a year for 3 years. They will build a core group of instructors to support Spacial Dynamics workshops and trainings worldwide. See more

February Movement Teacher's Conference

Spacial Dynamics Taiwan's Level I Training, under the leadership of Jaimen McMillan and Michael Lansky, just finished their second session. The theme was Figure... /Ground... the interplay between the body and the surrounding spaces. Supported by Jane Williams, Frank Stanley, Li Chun Yu( Mori Yu), Yifen Chang, and Chun Yuan Chen (), 100 students flashed smiles and swords. All were touched! Touché! See more
