St. Anthony of Padua CYO Basketball, Rocky Point, NY

Dear Parents, Hope you and your families are doing well during this time. There are many questions regarding youth sports moving forward, and CYO basketball is no exception. However, in preparation for a possible upcoming season, I am opening up registration for players to try out for our CYO travel basketball teams for the 2020-21 year.... St. Anthony’s CYO travel basketball is open for boys and girls entering grades 3 - 8 who either live in the parish boundaries or are registered members of St. Anthony’s Parish. (In a normal year, the girls season runs from October-January and the boys November-February. This may change this year due to COVID). There are a lot of uncertainties, including facility usage concerns. Because of this, we will not be collecting the $15 registration tryout fee as we have in the past. The cost for the season will be $200 per player for those who make the team. Go to http://stanthonycyo.sportssignup.com/site/ to register. We would like to form some new teams, especially in 3rd through 6th grade boys. Other grade levels with established teams may only have 1-2 openings, if any. A second team per grade level will only be considered if there are enough players and can be competitive on the travel level. Gym space must be considered as well.
