Did you know that 12% of all non-profit donations are received in the final three days of the year? If you're looking for a charity to support with an end-of-year gift consider The Monroe Foundation, as we work to help bridge the gap to higher education to deserving scholarship recipients.

It's #FundraisingFriday and if you're looking for an organization to give your support to at the end of the year, please consider The Monroe Foundation. We are helping bridge the gap to higher education by providing "gap funding" scholarships to deserving individuals seeking to receive an advanced degree. https://monroefoundationny.org/how-to-help/donate.html

The Monroe Foundation specializes in Gap Funding scholarships, but what does that mean? Educational research studies have highlighted that many students are unable to begin or complete their educational studies for lack of smaller amounts of balances that remain after all other sources of funding have been exhausted. Rather than providing full scholarships, the Foundation seeks to ‘fill the gap’ after all sources of tuition funding have been exhausted including financial a...id and grants, veteran aid, personal resources, and loans. Average grants per semester range from $1,000 to $5,000 and often are the difference between a student continuing with his/her studies or having to withdraw from classes and discontinue their education. Academic performance is reviewed at the conclusion of each semester in order to determine eligibility for continued funding. See more
