The archives have just received this beautiful gift- one of Frances Folsom Cleveland's books from her time at Wells College. For those of you who may not be as familiar with our college history, Frances "Frank" Folsom graduated from Wells College in 1885 and married President Grover Cleveland the following year... making her both a Wells alum and a First Lady! #archives #FirstLady #WellsCollege
We will be offering extended hours for Study Period and Finals. Happy studying!

Thinking about hosting a virtual Podcast Book Club (similar to a book club, but discussing a podcast instead of a book)... Would anyone be interested? If so, what type of podcast would you like to listen to???
The library is closed until further notice. Please stay tuned for updates! Stay safe, healthy, and sane, Wellisans!
Today we spent the morning at the Howland Stone Store Museum in Sherwood, taking images of woman suffrage posters as part of an ongoing digitization project funded by SCRLC. These posters, and other suffrage materials, will soon be available to researchers on NYHeritage.org. This project also provides a great internship opportunity for Wells students, including Jacob ‘21 who assisted us this morning!
According to this letter by President Macmillan, Henry Wells was responsible for introducing oysters to Buffalo?!?!? Any Buffalo people care to confirm?
Happy Odd/Even Weekend, Wellsians! Although Odd/Even looks a bit different this year, it is still one of Wells College's oldest and most beloved traditions. We hope everyone has fun and stays safe this weekend.
