The YMCA After School Club at the Adirondack Center had an absolute ball putting together their LEGO airport which was purchased through the Adirondack Foundations Community Fund for the Gore Mountain Region grant. This group of children have so many more fun projects coming because of the generous support of the community and the Adirondack Foundation!

The Capital Region FRESH research team at the University at Albany School of Public Health has been awarded a UAlbany Seed Grant for COVID-19 Minority Health Disparities in New York State. The purpose of this study is to understand the impact of COVID-19 on food access and availability among Capital Region residents, especially racial and ethnic minorities who may be under-represented in other efforts to collect this data. Specifically, we hope to learn about Capital Region households' experiences, attitudes, perceptions, and needs related to food access and availability during the COVID-19 pandemic. Interested?
