I've never taken the time to introduce myself on social media because I was always making connections in person at the studio. Since we are living in new times and the YogaSole community is growing beyond our little corner in Brooklyn, I thought it was about time to do so. . I'm Sunee LaClaire and if you have called or emailed the studio in the last 1.5 years, you spoke to me. I took over running the day to day operations of YogaSole in 2018 when I became the Managing Partne...r of YogaSole LLC. . I have an incredibly varied professional background including 14 years as a classroom teacher, a stint running my own business as a professional image consultant, and as a stylist in a retail environment. I've lived in too many places to list but they include cities on both coasts of the US and 10 years in Asia. Needless to say, I love to travel! Brooklyn is still and always will be my favorite place though. There's something about the air, architecture, and mix of people here that is unmatched. . I knew from the first time I walked into YogaSole that it was a different kind of studio. Judy was there to greet me and she was so friendly and welcoming. In my 20 + years of practicing yoga all over the world, I've sadly learned that this warm welcome is not always typical. I signed up to do work trade right then and there so I could keep my connection to the studio as I continued to explore other studios in New York. I love the inclusive, welcoming community that is YogaSole and I've been working insanely hard on keeping it healthy and growing through the shutdown caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
