I am pleased to say that progress has been made & we will be having a ground breaking ceremony for the start of this project next week. I'm excited to see this ...come to fruition as multiple companies from WNY (two of which are from Niagara Falls) will be involved with the plumbing, electrical, & mechanical work. Tonight is the first Let’s Talk Budget meeting held at Wrobel Towers 800 Niagara Ave from 6:30 - 7:30pm. The City Council along with City Controller will be prepared to answer any questions regarding the 2019 budget.

The emergency closure on February 25, 2019 was our 4th weather closure date. As listed in our 2018/2019 school calendar, the next available pay back day for thi...s date is Friday, March 15th. Although there was some initial discussion regarding whether or not school districts would be required to pay back this day, we have been advised by our BOCES Superintendent that the Governor's Office and NYSED have agreed extraordinary condition waivers will only be granted in cases where there are insufficient available remaining school and vacation days. Since we have two available payback days as well as our spring recess dates, we would not be in a position to qualify for a waiver, resulting in March 15th being a full day. Thank you
