While we were unable to hold our traditional Halloween events, our students and staff came in costume on Friday. Here are some pictures from our day - both from our PK and K-8 buildings, including both remote and in person learners!

We were happy to have Ms. Young begin ADAPP lessons this week with our classes! Ms. Young is connecting with our students and classes over Zoom.

Due to the rain today, the 45th precinct has rescheduled the Fall Festival to next Sunday.

Happy World Teachers Day! Every year, we are so proud of the hard work and dedication of our Catholic school teachers, but this year we are especially grateful! They have moved mountains to allow for our students to return to the classroom in a safe environment.

First Friday Mass has always been an important tradition at Santa Maria, and we were so grateful to be able to continue today, especially on the Feast of the Guardian Angels! Half of our in-person learners attended one Mass, while the remainder of our in-person learners attended a second Mass later to maintain appropriate social distancing. We are grateful to Fr Francisco and Fr Dickson for celebrating the Masses for us. Remote learners were able to pray with the readings and prayers of the liturgy through watching an online Mass. May our guardian angels watch over us, especially during these challenging times!

Students are actively engaged in-person in classrooms, with classmates who are participating remotely. Our teachers are doing a fantastic job!

Students enjoying time outside, whether for gross motor skills in our Universal Prekindergarten program or for gym and recess in kindergarten through 8th. So grateful for the beautiful weather these days!
